What a fantastic day yesterday celebrating the Royal wedding... Fantastic entertainment..bouncy castle kids using the park and the dancing with U. D. C. was amazing... Well done to you all for making a perfect day..... xxx

We were up visiting the inlaws and went for a meal & drinks this place is awsome and very welcoming absolutely loved this place

Was there last night had a meal which was lovely and then listened to some music from Dai James. Really enjoyed. Lovely atmosphere and seen people I havnt seen for a few years .

Visited here for the first time in many years today, beautiful food, very good value for the price you pay, and the service was fantastic, well done all, definitely won’t be leaving it as long to return.

My wife and I had high tea this afternoon and it was stunning. Plenty of food,we brought some home, and enough tea and coffee too. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Really attentive staff too. We will definitely be back again.

Iv'e always wanted to visit the Refresh for a number of reason's and today i finally made it. Even people i have never met in my life were chatty and helpfull. 2 guys (one of them an ex taxi driver in Maesteg) made me laugh. I only had 2 pints due to time getting on, but next time, i will more than make up for it. Lovely cosy place. Iv'e yet to get to know the bar staff, but it's early yet. Looking forward to my next visit.
