first class, friendly service. The brunch was truly delicious, very tasty and served on a nice hot plate which kept the food tasty until the last bite. The quality of the produce can't failed to be noticed.
The decor is fresh and welcoming and the ambiance very calm and chilled.

Very pleasant welcoming and delicious supper. Nikki our waitress was lovely and so helpful recommending meals for my daughters. Fantastic end to our holiday. Would highly recommend coming here, we'll certainly be back x
The standard of food and drink at The Strand is consistently excellent. Now a regular over the past year, I can honestly say i have never received a less than perfect brunch.
The best lunch of our holiday..fresh crab salad and seafood gratin ..great friendly service, good wine list...will def return
The Fawlty Towers Evening last Thursday was an absolute ball. Everyone got in the swing of it. The food was terrific. The actors were spot on and I cannot remember ever being in a restaurant with so much laughter. Well done The Strand Cafe!!!!
Six of us ate at The Strand last night, Sat 11th Aug, with our choices ranging from Confit du Canard, Bouillabaisse, Hake, Moules etc. Every dish was perfect - in presentation and taste. So good in fact, that we returned this morning for breakfast. Again, we were pleased we had. Wish I lived closer. Not used to raving about restaurants but this is wonderful and the staff are excellent.
Lovely place, lovely food, lovely setting. The staff were friendly and let us order off the breakfast menu ( kids wanted pancakes) even though it was 2pm.
Lovely food. Great service. Great views of Teignmouth. Being a coeliac it's hard to find places that have gluten free food. The cream tea and cakes here are superb. Well recommended.
Lovely atmosphere and great friendly service. the coffee is very good and the food well presented and delicious. Thank you.
Last night we came to your New Orleans cuisine and Jazz evening. The food was superb and the musicians were fab! Great atmosphere and great food. Felt really relaxed and was in no rush to eat and go, we wanted to take our time and savour the food and music. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Just had the most delicious meal here at the pop up oriental bistro. Highly recommend
Had cream tea outside in the sunshine. Scones were lovely with lots of jam and cream and lots of leaf tea too. Great friendly service too.
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Only had a coffee sat in the garden across the road but very nice. We'll be back.
Excellent lunch as usual, croque madam, croque Noel and eggs benedict. All beautiful prepared and served. Can’t wait for the warmer weather to sit outside
Excellent bistro. Went there today with my daughter, and had cream tea for two. Scones absolutely delicious, with mounds of clotted cream and jam. Cannot fault the place. Lovely interior. Well done to the staff. Will definitely come back.

If you're in Shaldon, a great place for breakfast or lunch. I haven't been in the evening. Good food and service. They have some delicious cakes. There's a terrace that enjoys lovely views in summer.
Great location and a lovely place to enjoy tea, coffee, a beer or glass of wine. Nice choice of pastries and cake too. Liked the look of today's hot meals on the menu. We'll be back soon.
