We usually have a Sunday carvery with our boys once a month during the caravan season from Feb to Nov. Carvery tastes great and the price is good value. We really enjoy it . We had one yesterday - the Tavern has been redecorated, it is clean and bright and the staff were friendly. I recommend booking during kids school hols as it gets really busy if you book you can eat in the adjoining Bucket and Spade which is also a great new addition to the site since opening last year
I think the Tavern is a really lovely place, we have been there 3 days on the trot. Lovely food, obliging staff and an all round great place to go!!
Great ploughman’s lunch for two . Great services. Will definitely be having another one
Great entertainment all round and staff were very helpful and pleasant defo going back
Took my granddaughter to the bucket and spade fantastic entertainment for the kids she had a fabulous time and the food was good too
Great venue if you can get a table in the beer garden, service can be slow at times but to be expected during the summer season, go every time after a browse round the market.
Enjoyed a nice cold pint listening to the music in the sunshine Sunday afternoon will be going again
Sunday lunch was very nice. Very big place. But not for me.
The beer and lager are absolutely atrocious. I could not drink a pint off beer there. I went on the massively overpriced bottle drinks, they could not be messed with. RJ,s is the same terrible beer. That rates a zero from me. The Seagull is the same price what a good pint. Krackers and the Ocean Bar serve a very good pint 60p cheaper as well. The menu in the Tavern is noting special typical fast food. I went there for the grandchildren otherwise I would give I a wide birth. The two stars are because the entertainment was fine for two and five year olds n the bucket and spade
