Sunday lunch before a look around the caves.
Staff were really friendly, and took an interest in all of our group. proactively giving the children something to draw with and letting them give their own orders for food and drink. Food was a little more pricey than my usual budget but the portions were generous and the food was top quality, so although pricey it was good value for money. I paid around £13 for a vegetarian roast which contained mushroom Wellington, roast potato and parsnip, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, spring greens and carrots as well as a Yorkshire pudding. it was all cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I would happily return if I was in the area.
So glad we came across this little gem last night. Beautiful food, lovely ambience, great breakfast delivered direct to the door for added chill out pleasure and uber friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

Most amazing food and service. After having lunch here had to go back to try the evening menu and wow. The chef is a genius
Just spent an amazing weekend here. Can't fault it. The staff were amazing - all of them and a big thanks to the chef for truly delicious food and to Simon and Jane for being the perfect, most accommodating hosts. So from all of us thank you so much x
I very rarely leave reviews for things/places however feel for this I need to. Our 3 year old has coeliac disease so eating out is tricky for us, however the staff at Wookey hole inn were incredibly helpful. On arriving and asking if they would cater for him they said, had we rang in advance they would have specially got in something, as we hadn't they provided us with several options on the menu that were safe and said we could order anything and they would do it child size (and therefore child price!) The food when I was brought out was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! They had books/crayons/games on hand to entertain the children and everything was done with a smile! My children ate the most food they have ever eaten in one sitting and all done without any tears/tantrums (very rare!!) I would definitely recommend eating here if you are staying nearby, whether you have children or not :-)

Great roast dinner, reasonable prices considering by a tourist attraction. Nice chilled ambience, friendly staff, nice enough garden and fabulous range of draught drinks and very good food. Worth a visit.
Excellent meal and great service, excellent selection of desserts too �
Delicious food, lovingly prepared, warm and friendly staff, most definitely highly recommended. Plus we have the same surname so it's even better :-)
Cracking pub although I rarely go but was welcomed on the 28/02/2018 with the dog when the village was nearly cut off in the snow , will be making more of an effort in the future
Came down to Wookey Hole for a week's holiday. Popped into The Wookey Hole Inn for a drink. Staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Decided to have a meal one evening and it was excellent, so much so, we had another!!
Amazing food and the staff and host were amazing as well would recommend to anyone
Very good food . Need to know what a Rodri is not a potato cake but staff pleasant and food was great would recommend defo and the wheat bear fantastic thankyou for your time there.
Really nice and comfortable stay. Staff were really friendly and approachable. Would defo come back �

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, kid friendly, good selection of beers/ales on tap, nice selection of wines and ciders and good food. Delicious tiger prawns, wild boar with quail egg scotch eggs for entree, steak and lamb dishes were cooked to perfection. Kids loved the pasta . Beer garden would be nice on a warmer day. Went back for again!
Didn't know what to expect from the outside as the sign was a bit jaded on the gable end and little bit brash on the front. BUT it was really welcoming and eclectic inside, the staff were really nice and the food was excellent. And they are dog friendly!
