Uka South West Winter Finals

We have received quite a few messages over the last few weeks, asking whether there would be an event in 2019. After lots of deliberations within the team, we have had to make the unfortunate decision that we won't be able to run the event in 2019 due to personal reasons.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly, as we very much enjoyed running the event last year and would have loved to develop it further and make it a highlight of the agility calendar in the south west,... but unfortunately life just gets in the way sometimes.
We would like to thank everyone who came to the last event as well as everyone who has enquired about future events for their support, it really means a lot to us. We would also like to thank South West Agility Goods, K9 Meals on Wheels, Niteingales Quality Rosettes, Dogs Matter, Yellow Hound - Lifestyle Animal Photography, Camddwr Canine Ltd, DOG StreamZ, Feroda Agility, Red Yew Studio- Grand Opening and Springs Things for sponsoring the 2018 event. The event wouldn't have been possible without you and thank your for helping make it such a great experience for everyone.
We are not dismissing the idea that the UKA South West Winter Finals might return in the future.

Semi Final rounds of the South West Winter Finals are nearly complete and the lucky Finalists will be walking their first course soon! Thank you to our amazing sponsors Yellow Hound, Control Precision Flow at Red Yew, Feroda, Streamz, Camddwr, Spring Things, K9 Meals on Wheels and SWAG

Springs Things will be at the finals tomorrow with their tradestand and are also super kind to sponsor one of the classes at the finals. We are looking forward to having them there. The best dog coats on the market so make sure to bring some spare pennies :)

UPDATE: Updated running orders have now been uploaded. A small error with a big effect ;) Hopefully this was the last technical difficulty for this event. All your queries from earlier should be sorted now. I will also send the new running orders out via email in a minute. Happy Jumping.

Hi all, we just sent this e-mail, if you didn't get it here is the information that was sent out:
"Hi all,
well done for qualifying for the inaugural UKA South West Winter Finals. We are certain it is going to be a great day and with so much talent in the South West it is set to be a fantastic celebration of Agility. We would also like to thank you for your patience as we know you have been waiting to hear from us with more information about the day.
... The finals are held at World Horse Welfare Glenda Spooner Farm, TA11 7LA
When you get to the venue, please park as directed. The venue will be open to the public, so encourage some friends and family along to spectate and cheer your on. The farm's visitor centre will be open on the day, including the amazing cafe with lots of yummy food. Entry to the venue is free.
Please find attached a copy of the ring plan as well as a schedule for the day with approximate timings. Please note: timings are subject to change. We will do our best to get through the day as quickly as possible and will make announcements on the day should we run either early or late.
Due to technical difficulties we are still waiting for the class running orders. We are hoping to get them to you before the event, otherwise they will be available on the day. The semi-final runs in the morning will run like a normal show with no strict running orders, and the final afternoon runs will be in reverse order based on the results from the semi-finals. Please also find attached a copy of the event rules that explains how many dogs will go through to the afternoon final in each of the classes.
If you have ordered clothing, please make sure to collect it in the morning. Clothing will be available to pick up from 7.30am. There will be signs telling you where you can pick it up from.
Also make sure to visit our amazing sponsors who will be there at the venue with their trade stands. They have donated some incredible prizes.
