Well here the arrangement is in situ, I’m trying my best to take more photos before my flowers leave the studio but nothing beats a photo of the flowers in the venue!

On these cold winter days I’m always thinking towards the warmer days and the spring flowers which will be available soon. This little combination was from a selection of flowers which we used in a spring installation last year.

I love looking back at old photos. This one is from a winter wedding at Coombe Lodge a few years ago.

One of my aims for 2019 is to be better at posting photos on Instagram. I have lots of photos of my work saved on my phone which I never get around to sharing with you! So to start with here’s a picture of one of my favourite winter flowers the Anemone. These beauties are perfect for a winter wedding and come in a selection of gorgeous colours!

Happy New Year! I’m often asked as a florist what my favourite flower is, It’s a question I never know how to answer because it changes depending on the season. I love the rich Jewel colours of winter but now I’m onto the bright colours of spring and I can’t wait for the scented Narcissus to be in season!

What a great way to start December! On Saturday I provided flowers for a gorgeous winter wedding at Aldwick Estate Congratulations to the lovely Jessica and Dexter.
Saturday evening I spent demonstrating at the fabulous 19 Alexandra Road festive evening. I had such fun demonstrating simple ways to style your festive table and how to create a large flower arrangement. As well as lots of festive chat!
Finally today I ran the first of many wreath workshops at 19 and wow. . . 6 stunning wreaths were created!

This stone jar of seasonal flowers and foliages really sums up autumn for me. Lots of gorgeous textures and the mix of the rich colours and the bright whites and creams reminds me of the rich coloured leaves on a bright crisp day.
