Wonderful location, stunning views and vegan ice cream! I haven't been able to buy an ice cream from a cafe for 5 years or more! I was well pleased - thank you Verdis! ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

Went to this lovely place Good Friday 30th March and had such a fabulous meal with my daughter and her boyfriend.

I ate prawn salad and it was the biggest and delicious one I have had most impressed.

The lasagna and pasta dish was delicious also that my daughter and her boyfriend ate and big portions also.

In fact all the food we see come out of the kitchen to other tables looked amazing.

The service was excellent too

I would highly recommend and I’m looking forward to going back there again in the near future

Went to Verdi's today for the first time in a decade or so, and the food and atmosphere are still just as lovely as I remember! Great choice of ice cream toppings and flavours (I recommend the hazelnut), good quality coffee, and lovely crispy thin-crust pizzas. Will definitely be back soon! :)

We were on a day trip by coach, so we had to take a chance with the weather. It poured down with rain. So first and last stop was Verdi Cafe and we wasn’t disappointed either. Service from ordering to receiving our food and drink, were a minute, despite how busy it was. The waitresses were friendly and fast. The food was excellent I certainly had no complaints except, I wish they had chips!



I would certainly go there again, when it’s sunny.

We love popping in for a cuppa when we taken our Little Grandson for a walk we are able too feed him and change he's nappy there and we always end up having something to Eat we tryd lots of different meals allways been lovely food is fantastic ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

Very happy that verdis is offering dairy-free icecream! Went with my family expecting to have to have sorbet due to my milk allergy and ended up being able to have a scoop of vanilla icecream and a scoop of strawberry icecream. Additionally, their icecream tubs and spoons are labelled as being biodegradable which is fantastic to see.

So love visiting this lovely place good service fab food great atmosphere amazing views and ice cream to die for

If you just want a drink they are all great if you fancy a snack they are all yummy if you want a full meal make sure your hungry if ice cream is your thing go nowhere else enjoy

I visited on 7th February with my mother and 13 month old son. An accident occurred in the cafe, involving my son, and I can only commend the staff present, in particular staff member John. John was amazing and his quick thinking and first aid skills were second to none. I will be foreverly grateful to him as I believe his actions prevented my son from suffering any lasting injury. He remained calm throughout an incident which was deeply distressing for my son, myself and my mother. I have always loved visiting verdis, thank you again, see you soon, love from a very grateful mum xxxx

3 of us went to Verdi’s yesterday at lunch time and it was very busy. We were delighted when other customers got up to leave right as it meant we had a table outside with easy access for my friend’s electric wheelchair. When the waiter came I enquired about the possibility of blending food for my friend who loves lasagna but cannot chew and can only eat soft food. The waiter was perplexed and called his manager. From the onset, it was obvious that Giuseppe had never had such a request. His first concerns were for the client “it will be dry”, and it was obvious he was very proud of the food he serves “we make proper Italian lasagna here, we do not drown it in tomato sauce”. I reassured him that it would be fine as we had made that request in other restaurants and they had been able to help. He said he would try and might learn something. He had been so passionate about the proper Italian lasagna that we decided to have lasagna too.

Well we were not disappointed! The blended portion arrived with little shavings of parmesan on top, looking delicious, and our portions looked equally good. It was truly the best lasagna I have ever had in Britain, and my friend enjoyed every mouthful. So thank you Giuseppe for a memorable lunch, but most of all for your passionate and compassionate attitude. You made this outing to Verdi’s really special!

Walked past noticed it was very busy and thought it would take ages to get food. Went in and it was surprisingly very prompt. The location is excellent and with the weather being as it is at the moment we decided to eat outside. I had the 4 cheese pizza and my partner had the spaghetti Bol. Decent quality food and generous portion sizes. Overall I would recommend this place as it is in a lovely location and the food is value for money. The desserts looked nice too but we were too full!

Lovely food. The staff were very helpful. Service was prompt, the occasional warm, welcoming smile was all that was missing to get full star quality.

Ice cream is fantastic. Setting is wonderful.My wife and I had pizza and focaccia and were a little disappointed. I appreciate that Verdis is a Mumbles institution, but the Italian food felt a long way from modern Italy.

Iv always enjoyed the coffee and cake experience here nice views too! ... but yesterday I was put off the waitress service !.. to be served by a waitress that cannot speak s word of English was beyond me .. I gave up so asked another waitress please watch our table so I can go up and order ... she also turned around and couldn’t speak a word of English !... how can these waitresses be of any help ...

I am one to tip being a waitress myself but I’m afraid the lack of communication put me off.. no, for the first time in my life I did not tip.

Very disappointed with the cookie crunch sundae I had today, only 1 scoop of ice cream instead of two BUT paying the SAME PRICE as old menu maybe more, menu changed as description used to say how many scoops!!! Had to send coffee back as it was cold was heated up not a fresh one made, it was heated far to hot felt like it was done like that on purpose.
