Walton Castle is a Grade II listed hill top property enjoying glorious 360 degree views over wooded North Somerset countryside on one side and stunning views across the Bristol channel to Wales on the other. The main part of the accommodation is housed on 4 floors in an octagonal keep which sits in the centre of a cobbled courtyard. There are a further 5 double bedroom suites which are self-contained and located in the outlying turrets. The property is set within its own private grounds and is a unique choice for hosting a wide variety of corporate and private events, celebrations and of course the ultimate fairy tale wedding. Perfect for family gatherings!
I was given fantastic opportunity to hire the stunning Walton Castle for a long and well over due family gathering. The Bouterfas family took over Walton Castle for the weekend! It was an amazing experience and gave us so many great memories to look back on. We laughed, We Played, We Cooked, We enjoyed the hot tub and heated indoor swimming pool, We received massages and foot treatments from the lovely Tania Palmer and Deborah Scott! - Thank you ladies x The Castle was amazi...ng and as a family we are all very much buzzing and grateful for the experience which has bought us all together! There is nothing more important than spending quality time with loved ones and this was the perfect venue for our family gathering. Thank you Margarita Hamilton, Amanda Paget and all the staff at Walton Castle for handing over Walton Castle to such a high standard. X

What can I say, my son and daughter in law were married here on the 11th October 16.
This is the most incredible and stunning venue both inside and out.
The medieval theme was perfect from start to finish, from the ceremony outside under the arch, to the decor, flowers, food, everyone in medieval costume, nothing more could have been done to have made it a more perfect day.
Thank you Tracy and Neil for making Simon and Clare's day so special.
What a venue! We fell in love with the castle on a rainy, misty October day and we had our wedding here on Easter Saturday 2017. We'd viewed a couple of places before and apart from the castle being absolutely stunning, it was the attitude of Tracey and the staff that made us know booking it was the right choice. We booked the venue for 4 nights and really made the place our home. The team at Walton Castle can be as involved in the planning as you want them to be. We wanted a very personal wedding and so chose to do a lot ourselves but Tracey was always at the end of the phone when we needed some advice. Our guests were amazed by the castle and we are already trying to think of reasons we can go back there again as we had such an amazing time. Thank you to Tracey, Neil and the team at Walton Castle. We couldn't have found a nicer venue for our wedding or met a nicer team in the process. We will be back x
We hired Walton Castle for our wedding on 1.10.16, the moment we saw it we fell in love with it and the venue was just what we were looking for- a relaxed venue where we could stay with our friends and family and have the place to ourselves for a mini holiday and make it our own. Tracey couldn't be more helpful and was always on hand to answer any questions I had, no matter how small. We visited the venue prior to the wedding for a second time to check some final things out and Tracey was more than accommodating with this. Neil was extremely helpful and a really lovely guy to have with us on our wedding day and help sort out supplier queries. It was such a perfect venue, even though there were a couple of downpours during the wedding day, there were so many beautiful and quirky rooms for our guests to find and experience. All of the kids loved sleeping in a castle, and the pool was a bonus! We would highly recommend this venue and we would love to go back perhaps for a ceremony to renew our vows in the future �
We had use of The Castle Friday and Sat nights, so were able to get to know the guests really well.
Location is amazing . Although we were joined by hurricane Brian last October and had to be indoors more than intended,everyone was knocked out. I want to do it all again. ( As I paid for the castle, did I just say that...). Totally awesome experience, highly recommend.
We had our wedding here and absolutely loved it. Perfect venue to give a grand but also homely feel. You can bring in your own caterers, drinks and entertainment so it's really an opportunity to make the day/weekend personal to you. If you have the castle for the weekend it also means the day doesn't need to end (!) and your nearest and dearest can stay in the castle with you. Beautiful and unique venue that received many rave reviews from our guests. S&R
We got married here this weekend and really can't have imagined a better venue. From the moment I went to visit the Castle I fell in love with the setting. Being able to hire the whole place for the weekend was just perfect, we were able to enjoy it over the three days and it became a home from home. Tracey and Neil are both amazing, Neil especially on the weekend of our wedding couldn't have done any more or been more accommodating, he was the perfect barman/caretaker who even drove some people back to their hotel at the end of the night! If you want a private wedding full of your own touches then walton castle is the perfect choice x

This is just a joy. Although it is very grand, it is also a home from home. Beautifully presented with everything you could possibly want for a short or, a long stay. Quiet, private and it's somewhere that is a complete "resort" to relax with no need to go anywhere else. Swim, chill, cater, party.
Management is very accommodating with a very laid back approach yet with an incredible attention to detail.
Very happy to recommend Walton to anyone wanting a little castle to call their own for a short or long stay.

My Mum got married here on Sunday, fairytale wedding lovely.
Incredible stay over New Year! We hired the venue with the family to see in 2017 and it was perfect for what we needed, ages ranged from 20-80 and it was brilliant for everyone and perfectly equipped! It was an unforgettable break for us and at the end of the week it really felt like home for us!
Had the upmost pleasure of getting married here last week(20/6/18) and it was amazing
Neil was great and nothing was too much trouble and Mandy answered all my questions ( even late on a Sunday evening)
The castle is stunning and from the moment I 1st viewed it I knew I had to get married there)
We had a relaxed wedding, ceremony was outside we even had our 1st dance outside
I would book this place again in a heartbeat if the occasion arose
