I have worked in the horticulture industry for ten years, starting out in retail running a garden department then moving on to work at a nursery and then starting my own garden maintenance and design business.

Through this time I had the opportunity to learn a wealth of information on horticulture, building on the passion I already had for plants and deepening my fascination with this most rewarding of pursuits.

I am a member of the Royal Horticultural Society and a keen home gardener, when I'm not creating beautiful spaces for my clients, I am trying to do it for myself!

I aim through my business to provide a quality service with a very personal touch. I pride myself on being able to provide this personal services, sharing my knowledge of gardening with a design perspective with my clients.

My design mantra is very much "right plant, right place" with emphasis on planting, creating diversity and natural beauty in the garden, a contrast to the increasing use of limited planting palettes and over use of paving and hard landscaping in many gardens today.

I am very environmentally minded, I always aim to work in the 'greenest' way possible, using organic soil providers where available and recycling bulky waste by shredding and composting.

I'll also probably try to convince you to have at least one tree planted in the garden if you don't already have one!
