we left this site on Saturday after 10 nights and we cannot fault it. The facilities were spotlessly clean whatever time of day or night we went. We were on an all serviced pitch and it was worth every penny, no problems with the electric or water at all, the pitches were also large, enough to accommodate a large awning and still have space to sit outside on nice days. The book exchange had plenty of reads in it, we didn't use it to get a book but we did donate a book and think that its a great idea. We were not troubled by traffic noise at all but we were higher up on the site. If we didn't live so far away from this site, we would without hesitation use it again. If you are a after an incredibly clean site with excellent facilities peace and quiet then in our opinion you cannot go far wrong than booking onto this site.

What a lovely site this was, clean, friendly people & staff, brilliant idea for the dog exercise area & better for us as we never let our dog off the lead but she loved running around. Lovely walk into Wells to the cathedral & good idea with the hire of the cars. Would def return & recommend it �.....thank you

Very clean, tidy, well looked after, friendly staff, quiet, but close enough to plenty of history, & things to do ! Pitches spacious, pretty level, amenities spotless ! Highly recommend !

This site is an amazing find! Fabulous position.....walkable to Wells....25minutes, pavement all the way.....or bus stop right outside. A lovely friendly welcome from our host......who explained everything about the site, dog walks (we have 4) the walk into Wells, how far, how long and where all the attractions & supermarkets are. The actual site is second to none......it has been thoughtfully designed for ease of use......hosepipes on the taps, water points conveniently placed whatever the size & design of your outfit! The shower blocks, laundry & washing up areas are spotlessly clean and everything works properly & well! My particular 'wish' is nice hot showers, and these have not disappointed....lovely hot water and spacious! The pitches are beautifully kept and well sized. The views from the site are beautiful and it all makes for a peaceful, relaxing existence. There is even a 'proper' place to play Pétanque, with a score board and Boules provided. I really cannot fault this lovely, lovely place....we are leaving tomorrow and I am very sad🙁 We will definitely be back❤️

Lovely site, first rate. Friendly welcome, immaculate showers and toilets. Nice roomy pitches. Close to Wells, with bus stop outside the site. Would come again.

I have just read a review regarding the noise from the road, I can't agree with this statement, we sat outside and had a few BBQ's , whilst I admit the traffic can be heard if you really go out of your way to strain your ears, however the feeling of being in the countryside whilst having so many amenities so close at hand made for a lovely break.

Just had four nights here. Excellent welcome and on a fully equipped pitch. Good level hardstanding but awning pegs went in with little trouble. Site is very clean and the washing facilities were spotless and there was plenty of hot water.

Dog exercise area was useful but a good walk around the site and out along the road sufficed. Poo bin by dog exercise area was useful. WiFi worked well at our pitch. Will use again if down that way and would recommend it. It was about half full whilst we were there but was quiet and restful.

Just had a weeks holiday here and absolutely loved it. It is located about. 5 minutes drive to wells and about 25 minute drive to cheddar. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite and the shop stocks a good range of emergency supplies....and a freezer full of ice cream (have a orange calippo if your feeling the heat �). The free WiFi on site is of good strength and to have a good surf if you need to. The site is very well maintained and is just what it says on the tin.....peaceful and tranquil. Fancy fish and chips, order it from the local pub and it gets delivered straight to your pitch �. The sunsets on this site are beautiful and are great to watch of an evening. There is plenty to do nearby, lots of tourist attractions, a bus stop right outside the site too! If you don’t want to stock up on food, no need, nearby there is a Lidl, Morrison’s, Tesco and the market at wells sells great fresh food also. Thinking of booking here, Donte hesitate you will have a relaxing holiday with plenty to do and see if you want too. 5 stars from me ���

Just had 3 nights there. Lovely quiet site ( although only 30% occupied ) shower block modern clean and warm with plenty of hot water. Reception staff very helpful. A 20 minute walk on footpaths to Wells city. Wokey hole 1 mile away. The nearest pub is in Wokey village just over a 1 mile again on tarmac footpaths. Free WiFi on site was a pleasant surprise.

Just enjoyed another long weekend here. Great site with very good facilities. A very well kept and landscaped park with lovely views and within easy walking distance of Wells. Bus stop outside and taxis very cheap if you don't want to walk. All the staff on site are always friendly and helpful. We came down for the 10th anniversary bash on Saturday night and a very good night it was to. Big thanks to Jason and all the family. Will be back.

Home after another fantastic week on this wonderful site (our second so far this year ). Guaranteed warm welcome from the most friendly and helpful staff you could ever wish to meet. Facilities are spotlessly clean and on site car hire at very reasonable prices is a bonus for motor home owners. Looking forward to our next visit already :-) :-) . Thank you all so much for your hard work to maintain your high standards.

Have spent a lovely 15 night break at Wells Touring Park with our friends Jane Trahair and her husband Pete. This is a beautiful site, well run by Jason,Jim,Yvonne, and their team. It's so close to the lovely city of Wells, well within walking distance. Only one thing marred our stay. On our penultimate evening spent with friends who live in Wells we returned to the site. A "gentleman" and his friend, both staying in motorhomes nearby started to express their feelings about our dogs. My mild mannered husband walked our two dogs(females) across some grass. One of the "gentlemen " proceeded to begin a tirade of vile foul gutter language about our dog's toilet habits. Now we are very fastidious in picking up after our dogs, and have been known to pickup after others. We have paid for the privilege of having our dogs stay with us on the site, and don't expect ignorant uneducated foul mouthed people to berate us in this manner. Hopefully on our next visit to this tranquil site the man and his friend will be staying elsewhere! This incident has not deterred us!! We will be returning again. Thank you Jason and co.

Great, clean and peaceful place, brilliant idea renting out little Smart cars 🚗, also ideally located near a bus stop, just wish the the dog park was a little bigger 😃

Checked in at this camp site, a real delight. Very quiet location at a very friendly family run site. Spotlessly clean site with excellent facilities. Showers have underfloor heating which is perfect in the winter as this site is open all year. Recycling and domestic rubbish located at the entrance/ exit of site which is Ideal as no waste bins located and misused around the site. Just take your rubbish when you leave and dispose of it. Really excellent recycling facilities which is unusual. This is our 3rd time here and many more in the future, 1st class. Well located for public transport to Bristol & Bath, Wells is within walking distance which is great.

Cannot fault it whoever does fault it is in cloud cuckoo land, owners said free WiFi around site coming next year instead of having to go the lounge but get good mobile so happy as it is,the only thing missing is piped music in the showers would be a nice addition

Absolutely wonderful weekend away at your park. Very clean and tidy even tho you have work going on on site. Staff are very friendly and offered good advice when asked. We walked to wookey hole then walked to wells and back to site. Will definitely stay here again.

A gem of a site and within a five minute walk to our grandson Jasper, Happy Days

Site was clean and tidy we stayed two nights - on our second day we went off site and when we came back discovered our windbreak was missing. Site wardens were brilliant, checked that it hadn't been removed by a staff member and contacted the site and advised us that the site owner would visit us the following morning, he didnt come to us the following day until we had visited reception again and unfortunately wasnt interested, was dismissive and no hint of apology, when I said that I thought the site was secure and safe and was disappointed that our windbreak had been stolen he laughed and said that the site was secure and he always knew who was on the site and it wasn't crime of the century - I advised that I would be reporting it to the police as theft from his site to which he replied 'really?' . The windbreak isn't important here it was the owners attitude, he seemed to think that it was ok as he has had drainers taken ! - we definitely won't be going back. We've never had any issues on any other sites we've stayed on.

Very clean, tidy, well looked after, friendly staff, quiet, but close enough to plenty of history, & things to do ! Pitches spacious, pretty level, amenities spotless ! Highly recommend !

This site is an amazing find! Fabulous position.....walkable to Wells....25minutes, pavement all the way.....or bus stop right outside. A lovely friendly welcome from our host......who explained everything about the site, dog walks (we have 4) the walk into Wells, how far, how long and where all the attractions & supermarkets are. The actual site is second to none......it has been thoughtfully designed for ease of use......hosepipes on the taps, water points conveniently placed whatever the size & design of your outfit! The shower blocks, laundry & washing up areas are spotlessly clean and everything works properly & well! My particular 'wish' is nice hot showers, and these have not disappointed....lovely hot water and spacious! The pitches are beautifully kept and well sized. The views from the site are beautiful and it all makes for a peaceful, relaxing existence. There is even a 'proper' place to play Pétanque, with a score board and Boules provided. I really cannot fault this lovely, lovely place....we are leaving tomorrow and I am very sad🙁 We will definitely be back❤️

Lovely site, just got home from 4 days stay here. Everything you need here very clean site well kept. Very friendly staff, and the position was central for wells, wooky hole, and cheddar. Thank you so much we will be visiting again. The fish & chips from Georges take away are lush

I have just read a review regarding the noise from the road, I can't agree with this statement, we sat outside and had a few BBQ's , whilst I admit the traffic can be heard if you really go out of your way to strain your ears, however the feeling of being in the countryside whilst having so many amenities so close at hand made for a lovely break.

Just had four nights here. Excellent welcome and on a fully equipped pitch. Good level hardstanding but awning pegs went in with little trouble. Site is very clean and the washing facilities were spotless and there was plenty of hot water.

Dog exercise area was useful but a good walk around the site and out along the road sufficed. Poo bin by dog exercise area was useful. WiFi worked well at our pitch. Will use again if down that way and would recommend it. It was about half full whilst we were there but was quiet and restful.

Just had a weeks holiday here and absolutely loved it. It is located about. 5 minutes drive to wells and about 25 minute drive to cheddar. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite and the shop stocks a good range of emergency supplies....and a freezer full of ice cream (have a orange calippo if your feeling the heat �). The free WiFi on site is of good strength and to have a good surf if you need to. The site is very well maintained and is just what it says on the tin.....peaceful and tranquil. Fancy fish and chips, order it from the local pub and it gets delivered straight to your pitch �. The sunsets on this site are beautiful and are great to watch of an evening. There is plenty to do nearby, lots of tourist attractions, a bus stop right outside the site too! If you don’t want to stock up on food, no need, nearby there is a Lidl, Morrison’s, Tesco and the market at wells sells great fresh food also. Thinking of booking here, Donte hesitate you will have a relaxing holiday with plenty to do and see if you want too. 5 stars from me ���

Just had 3 nights there. Lovely quiet site ( although only 30% occupied ) shower block modern clean and warm with plenty of hot water. Reception staff very helpful. A 20 minute walk on footpaths to Wells city. Wokey hole 1 mile away. The nearest pub is in Wokey village just over a 1 mile again on tarmac footpaths. Free WiFi on site was a pleasant surprise.

Just enjoyed another long weekend here. Great site with very good facilities. A very well kept and landscaped park with lovely views and within easy walking distance of Wells. Bus stop outside and taxis very cheap if you don't want to walk. All the staff on site are always friendly and helpful. We came down for the 10th anniversary bash on Saturday night and a very good night it was to. Big thanks to Jason and all the family. Will be back.

Home after another fantastic week on this wonderful site (our second so far this year ). Guaranteed warm welcome from the most friendly and helpful staff you could ever wish to meet. Facilities are spotlessly clean and on site car hire at very reasonable prices is a bonus for motor home owners. Looking forward to our next visit already :-) :-) . Have spent a lovely 15 night break at Wells Touring Park with our friends Jane Trahair and her husband Pete. This is a beautiful site, well run by Jason,Jim,Yvonne, and their team. It's so close to the lovely city of Wells, well within walking distance. Only one thing marred our stay. On our penultimate evening spent with friends who live in Wells we returned to the site. A "gentleman" and his friend, both staying in motorhomes nearby started to express their feelings about our dogs. My mild mannered husband walked our two dogs(females) across some grass. One of the "gentlemen " proceeded to begin a tirade of vile foul gutter language about our dog's toilet habits. Now we are very fastidious in picking up after our dogs, and have been known to pickup after others. We have paid for the privilege of having our dogs stay with us on the site, and don't expect ignorant uneducated foul mouthed people to berate us in this manner. Hopefully on our next visit to this tranquil site the man and his friend will be staying elsewhere! This incident has not deterred us!! We will be returning again. Thank you Jason and co.

Great, clean and peaceful place, brilliant idea renting out little Smart cars 🚗, also ideally located near a bus stop, just wish the the dog park was a little bigger 😃

Checked in at this camp site, a real delight. Very quiet location at a very friendly family run site. Spotlessly clean site with excellent facilities. Showers have underfloor heating which is perfect in the winter as this site is open all year. Recycling and domestic rubbish located at the entrance/ exit of site which is Ideal as no waste bins located and misused around the site. Just take your rubbish when you leave and dispose of it. Really excellent recycling facilities which is unusual. This is our 3rd time here and many more in the future, 1st class. Well located for public transport to Bristol & Bath, Wells is within walking distance which is great.

Cannot fault it whoever does fault it is in cloud cuckoo land, owners said free WiFi around site coming next year instead of having to go the lounge but get good mobile so happy as it is,the only thing missing is piped music in the showers would be a nice addition

Absolutely wonderful weekend away at your park. Very clean and tidy even tho you have work going on on site. Staff are very friendly and offered good advice when asked. We walked to wookey hole then walked to wells and back to site. Will definitely stay here again.

A gem of a site and within a five minute walk to our grandson Jasper, Happy Days

Site was clean and tidy we stayed two nights - on our second day we went off site and when we came back discovered our windbreak was missing. Site wardens were brilliant, checked that it hadn't been removed by a staff member and contacted the site and advised us that the site owner would visit us the following morning, he didnt come to us the following day until we had visited reception again and unfortunately wasnt interested, was dismissive and no hint of apology, when I said that I thought the site was secure and safe and was disappointed that our windbreak had been stolen he laughed and said that the site was secure and he always knew who was on the site and it wasn't crime of the century - I advised that I would be reporting it to the police as theft from his site to which he replied 'really?' . The windbreak isn't important here it was the owners attitude, he seemed to think that it was ok as he has had drainers taken ! - we definitely won't be going back. We've never had any issues on any other sites we've stayed on.

we left this site on Saturday after 10 nights and we cannot fault it. The facilities were spotlessly clean whatever time of day or night we went. We were on an all serviced pitch and it was worth every penny, no problems with the electric or water at all, the pitches were also large, enough to accommodate a large awning and still have space to sit outside on nice days. The book exchange had plenty of reads in it, we didn't use it to get a book but we did donate a book and think that its a great idea. We were not troubled by traffic noise at all but we were higher up on the site. If we didn't live so far away from this site, we would without hesitation use it again. If you are a after an incredibly clean site with excellent facilities peace and quiet then in our opinion you cannot go far wrong than booking onto this site.

What a lovely site this was, clean, friendly people & staff, brilliant idea for the dog exercise area & better for us as we never let our dog off the lead but she loved running around. Lovely walk into Wells to the cathedral & good idea with the hire of the cars. Would def return & recommend it �.....thank you
