Wellsprings Leisure Centre are looking to add to their team of Children's Activity Instructors and are recruiting for a Children's Activity Supervisor to help run our Better Holiday Play Schemes. We also host children's birthday parties which you'll play a key role in assisting with.
Working as part of a team, you'll create a structured, safe and fun environment using the facilities around you. You'll be from a childcare, sports or arts background and have experience of covering differing age groups in various settings including working with children of 5+ years old. You should have a minimum Level 2 or 3 in Childcare / Play Work or a Level 2 coaching qualification with a First Aid qualification.

Wellsprings is running a Tennis for Kids course for 6 consecutive days starting on Tuesday 28th August. Sessions will run from 10:00 to 11:00 each day. The cost is £25.00 and each participant will receive 6 x 1hr lessons, a free tennis racket and t-shirt. The course is aimed at 8-11 year olds.

In the last few weeks the children have certainly been having fun on our Summer holiday camps. One activity involved junk modelling with the theme of "robots". Check out the news article on the website to see how some of the children used one of our staff to make a large junk model robot. Lots of more fun and activities planned for the coming weeks including Junk Modelling space stations!

thankyou so much for allowing us to organise and host Somerset comicon and gaming festival ..your team were fantastic and so helpful and supportive so really appreciated and all our disabled guests loved how accessable the centre was for them to attend so top marks guys!!

I've been there quite a few times to see shows. I found it a great place & the staff are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend going here to everyone.

I had a back massage on Sunday with Freddy's fitness at wellsprings and it was excellent. It was a relaxing environment and Freddy made me feel relaxed. I have been suffering with a sore neck and shoulders, Freddy worked on these areas and they feel so much better. The first one is free and then its £15, very good value and a top rate massage. Booking another one on Sunday. Can certainly recommend.

Great gym, nice equipment and I love the Pilates classes a lot �

Great gym well run friendly staff always being cleaned and the people who use this gym are normal average run-of-the-mill people not your prima donnas

Great Christmas party considering it this year

Go there three times a week to the gym. The staff are helpful, friendly and always meet you with a smile. And the facilities are great. Well worth joining.

Freddy's Fitness is really excellent. Really helpful to have someone keeping an eye on what I'm doing. He makes up a card with an exercise routine, which is changed after so many sessions. Most importantly, it's tailored to me and my individual health needs. Plus having a friendly face, and getting to know the others attending regularly, prevents going to the gym being impersonal. I can't recommend it enough.

Fabulous night at Motown Christmas Party will definitely come back next year ��

After an injury I have been visiting this facility to regain the uae of my lower leg and to aid my general heal5h. My plan is perfect. I am always able to talk to Debbie if I need to. And I have now had amazing plates class with full instruction helping me keep up . I would definitely recommend especially if you are a little nervous .

Was there to watch a roller Derbyshire bout that was running till 5 but the cafe closed around 3 they missed out on a lot of business

Staff always really helpful and brilliant Body Balance class with Mario - just wish they would clean up the studio as it is always a bit grubby especially the floor. Also one day please could we have EFFICIENT Air Con?

Have been using wellsprings gym now over last two years, equipment updated about 9 months ago and although not all top of range stuff it's a great facility always equipment available when I visit, although some tlc is needed on a more regular basis i.e. Water machines always breaking or showers out of order etc but overall very happy with my membership there!

Great building and very clean. Cafe a little pricey though which was a shame.

Some of the staff are very rude no customer service at all

No phone signal and no wifi so feel stranded when your down there.

Wellspring leisure centre messed up again!!!!!!

Double booked a basketball court and didn't even seem bothered. Now going to blackbrook pavilion.

Very unhelpful manager tonight.

Recommend to try somewhere else and don't use wellsprings leisure centre!

Since GLL took over Tone Leisure the Wellsprings Centre has gone down hill. The changing rooms are gross, they obviously don't get cleaned. The showers often have bugs all over the walls. There is poly filler on all the walls throughout the centre. The whole place is looking very run down.
