Weston Town Council is the civil "parish" council for Weston. The 31 councillors are elected exclusively by the people of Weston and work for the town.

Weston-Super-Mare Town Council Description

Weston Town Council is the only democratically elected body exclusively representing the civil "parish" and people of Weston-Super-Mare, including Worle and Uphill. There are 31 councillors elected every 4 years who take no allowances, as well as a small number of employed staff to implement their decisions. The Council is entirely independent of North Somerset Council and raises its own budget to spend on services and facilities that the people of Weston want. On the 19th of March 6.30pm, we will be holding our Annual report meeting when the Town Council’s Annual Report will be presented. An Annual Town Meeting is held every year in which any resident of Weston may take part and express their views on any issue affecting the town. It is also an opportunity for the main Committees within the Council to present an overview of their actions and achievements since the previous meeting.
This is an open invitation to the public to come and find out what Weston Town Council has been doing and have their say.
Followed by the normal Town Council meeting.
