Live Goat Birth!

So today Farmer Simon called Cathy to the barn to film a brand new baby goat. While they were admiring the cute newborn a ewe went into labour. It was quite dramatic but Farmer Simon saved the day. Watch this vid from 21 mins and 30 secs. *Warning - despite a very happy ending, its not for the squeamish* 🐑

Live from the Cameroon paddock - lambs just seconds old!!

We’ve had lots of cute Cameroon lambs born this week. We also had a visit from 3rd East Kirkby Scouts and they named this little beauty after their leader. So please welcome little Akela to the world! X

Lovely news here at the farm today. Lauren is here with her friends and family celebrating her daughter Poppy’s 1st Birthday. 28 years ago Lauren came to the farm to celebrate her 1st Birthday too. It’s 28 degrees here at the farm. Here’s how we keep some of the animals cool!

Our beautiful bunny Jessica is making sure she’s staying extra cool this summer 🐰. Here are our top tips to help keep your bunnies happy when its hot outside! ☀️
1: Always keep your rabbit hutches/runs in a shaded area and out of direct sunlight, hutches can reach extreme temperatures during summer
2: Place frozen water bottles in their hutch/run for them to lie next to or lean on
... 3: Use marbled tiles in their favorite spot for them to lie on (always make sure this is in the shade as they become extremely hot in the sun)
4: Mist cool water on the back of your buns ears, rabbits regulate their body temperature through them so this will cool them down pretty quickly (please note not all rabbits enjoy this, if your rabbit runs away chances are it is too stressing for them)
5: Place a wet towel on the floor for them to sit on
6: Offer lots of veggies to keep them hydrated
7: Make bunny ice lollies using bunny safe vegetables and water
8: Add ice cubes to their water bottles
9: If the temperature is cooler inside your house consider allowing your rabbit to run around inside for a couple of hours until the hottest time of the day has passed
If you suspect your rabbit has heat stroke do not submerge in water as this may cause your rabbit to go into shock, gently dab cool water behind his/her ears and go to the vets immediately!
Dont forget about protecting them from flystrike too! Make sure hutches are kept clean and messy bottoms are dealt with straight away as these are perfect conditions for flies to lay their eggs.

had a wonderful day with my son and grandson that is why we keep coming back from feeding the animals to tractor rides and activities in the barns the fun is endless would also like to say how friendly and helpful the staff are had a bit off a incident and the first aid i was given was remarkable and the way they were with the children in calming them whilst i was given treatment was first class ty .......

What an amazing weekend you guys have all done.. Thank you for the great activities you have put on this weekend for the birthday celebrations.. the kids have had an amazing time exploring everywhere. The animals are very well cared for and the staff have an amazing customer service towards the guest... thank you again to you all, you all deserve a well earned rest �

We’ve been going to the farm for many years now and have been annual pass holders for several years. The kids absolutely love the place.



Today my son went for a farmer day and absolutely loved it, it was the perfect birthday present. Amy was absolutely amazing with him making him feel extra special and doing lots of things you really don’t get to do on a normal visit. Entering the meerkat enclosure, going back behind the scenes at the reptile house, milking a goat to name a few. Would highly recommend it, and will definitely be arranging another for my son.



Thanks to everyone who helped make Leo’s day perfect. He’ll be talking about it for days!

We had our daughters 4th birthday party at Whitepost Farm & I was very impressed. Our daughter & her friends loved every minute & enjoyed the one to one with the animals & the party room afterwards! It was all very well organised & we ended up staying for the whole day on the park as it was such a beautiful day. It was fab from start to finish & I would recommend for a child’s birthday party. Thank you!

Visited park whilst on holiday in the area and wasn’t disappointed. So much to do and see! My toddler enjoyed feeding animals and viewing the birds in the incubator room. The sledge run is brilliant. We had a lovely day and we will try and come back :)

Used to go here every year for my daughter's party, not been for a few years but she was 11 yesterday, I took her and my 1 year old grandson it was as amazing yesterday as it was for my daughter's parties! Great place always love it x thankyou whitepost farm your doing amazing xx

Thank you White Post Farm for hosting my little boys birthday party on Sunday. Brayden had the best of days with his little friends. All the staff where amazing, helpful and so fridndly! The food was fabulous and the party bags where brilliant. We couldn't of asked for a better day from start to finish with the farm tour, animal handling and poney ride and lots of play time. Once again thank you so much! Lots to do for all of them aged between 1, 2 and 3 years xxx

Stayed Saturday night for our Brownie Sleepover, followed by a day at the farm on Sunday. We all had a fab time and nothing was too much trouble for all the staff members who looked after us- a big thanks to Rachel our tour guide who was brilliant!

Probably the best farm me my little boy and partner have been to can be so hands on with the animals and plenty to do, can easily spend the whole day here and still not want to go home at closing time haha.. staff are very friendly and helpful too

Olivia (daughter) and I have an annual membership. We have been visiting White post farm for some years and Olivia loves it. She has ASD and she finds all the animals have a calming influence on her. All the Staff are always helpful when needed, plenty of room inside to eat your packup on a winters day and lots of places to go when it’s warmer. We’ll probably be back in a few weeks again. Olivia never tires of seeing, feeding and holding the animals. Thanks for a great place for us to visit.

I am so lucky to work next door to such an amazing place. We have had the privilege of spending a weekend with you to celebrate your 30th birthday and i can honestly say i have had the best time. The care you give the animals and your customers is exceptional. Your the best!!

Great place for a family visit. Plenty to see and do. The staff were genuinely friendly and very clearly enjoy their job. I'm a little sad I didn't know about this place when my children were young, but will have many visits in the future with my husband's grandchildren. Highly recommend it!

My husband and I had our first date here nearly 7 years ago and today I wanted to recreate that special day for his 30th Birthday.

The staff were amazing, so chatty and loved talking about all the animals and made us feel so welcome.



The animals, Oh my gosh... If I could go home with all of them I would. I especially loved the babies <3



we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend for people to go and visit! whatever your age!

After this week I cannot recommend such a knowledgeable and supportive local reptile department. (Obviously I love the rest of the farm too!)

I won’t go into the ins and outs of my experience but, last night and today I was in an absolute mess and when I went back to the reptile house for much needed advice and clarity, I expected to be shunned away or to be blamed, however they gave me so much support and guidance.

As an animal lover it’s amazing knowing I have the continued support and advice from these incredible people.

Absolutely great day out. We travelled for an hour to come here and it was well worth it. All my children from age 3 to 12 had a fantastic day! So much to see and do. All facilities were clean. And staff were all lovely. Definitely recommend to anyone. Well worth it �

Absolutely fantastic day from start to finish! I came with my daughter who is almost two and husband. We especially enjoyed feeding and petting the very friendly animals. The staff were all lovely and knowledgeable. There are Indoor and outdoor picnic areas, fun play areas inside and out and crazy golf! By far my favourite part of the day was the sheep racing, bet on your favourite and then cheer them on to win! Such fun, I loved it and won twice! � would most definitely recommend and will be returning. Thanks to all at White Post Farm!
