What an amazing experience this was! Will was absolutely wonderful and was so kind. Everything exceeded our expectations and even with the frigid winds we had it turned out to be the best day of our trip! We can't thank you all enough for this truly unforgettable experience!

We visited Winterfell Tours back in May as part of an Irish road trip for our honeymoon. Emma was fantastic! She gave us an educational tour of the grounds and a wonderful archery lesson! By the end of our lesson, even I was hitting bullseyes! We been raving to all our friends and inducing jealousy in all of them. The drive from Dublin to Castle Ward was stunning, one of our favorite legs of the trip and the bike tour was so enjoyable that we forgot to play the scenes on the iPad most the time! I recommend this experience to all GoT fans!

We had such fun. Really enjoyed ourselves. The staff are nice ans helpful. We dresses up and went around filming locations ans next day we had archery training and contest. It was great fun. The grounds are stunning. Even if you are not a GOT lover its a really beautiful plce to visit.

We had a great day. Jamie was a great and lively guide, full of stories and ready to chat. The archery was great, even with my terrible hand eye coordination. They were really accommodating with the cycling, they let us do the tour as a walk instead and we got some great pics in costume.

Was a great day visiting the home of the Starks. And The Dark Hedges. Also was at Larrybane where Renly’s camp was located.

Visted for my husbands 50th Birthday, had a fantastic time, an amazing place with stunning scenery. Tour guides were professional and very knowledgeable. Loved the archery and the Westeros self guided cycle tour too. Thank you for a day to remember xx

This place was so magical. Being there was like I was actually in a different world. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. I am definitely going go back!

The 3 if us had a fantastic few hours with Will...archery and loads loads and loads of Craic. Will is A great coach (I even hit the target once!!) He's also a highly entertaining story teller and what he doesn't know about game of thrones you could write on a pin head. His tales from the set are hilarious and being dressed up in the gear..you almost feel like you are part of Winterfell. Will we will be back!

Ruari is absolutely fantastic! He was our guide for the private archery session and he made our session very enjoyable. He is very professional, informative, helpful and friendly at the same time! Thanks for a great day Ruari!

Really enjoyed this experience , it’s not commercialised which was a refreshing change. The staff were great and informative. Dire wolves and family were so interesting and the archery was great fun. Time after to walk round the grounds and spot different filming spots. A must for fans .

Private tour led by the rightful Lord and heir of Winterfell, Willard. This experience has been unmatched by anything I've ever done. Omg, this place is truly amazing. We loved every minute of it. The place is stunning, the people are ever so friendly and James have the boys quite a great bit of instruction with their archery. We had such a fun day out. If I were to do it again, which I might, I would do an overnighter. Fun filled but long drive from and back to Gweedore in Donegal. It is a must see n do.

My wife, my son and I decided to take a VIP tour to Ward Castle (Winterfell) to experience this Game Of Thrones tour. From the moment William picked us up from Dublin (fully dressed in GoT gear and an amazing robe)we knew this was going to be great! And it was! William is one of the nicest guys I have ever met and he definitely has a lot of historical facts under his belt. He knows the GoT series inside out and even humored is with some GoT dialogue.



He was a complete gentleman, and made my wife and son feel right at home. When we took a break for lunch he even took us to eat some amazing food!



We saw many parts of Northern Ireland and many locations that I recognized from the series :) it was a joy to stand where the other actors had once stood and take the beauty of Northern Ireland in.







William really made this trip what it was. Excellent in every way.

My mate and I had the most amazing time today. The dire wolves are beautiful! Their owner (Connell I think) was lovely and his stories were great. Rory was hilarious despite slagging us off for being so early! I’m sorry I don’t remember our archery guy’s name but he was such fun and we had a great time! Highly recommend this for Thronies!!! Me and my partner ran into the tour bus whilst visiting the Dark Hedges. We were treated to a meeting with the lovely Kai and even got to have our picture taken with him. The owner of the tour was so kind, especially as it was his day off and we weren't even on his tour. We will definitely be visiting Castle Ward on our next holiday to Ireland. Thank you so much.

Loved the tour with Will, all th insights, humour and general knowledge of the area was insightful and respectful of the history. I nearly gave up making the booking from nz as the booking clerk seemed not interested or difficult which made it frustrating with a 13 hour time difference but I am so glad I persisted.

I loved here, I feel like I’m the one of house stark. All people were nice and try to built up the atmosphere like in the series. So sad that I couldn’t find Hodorr lol

I have never seen GoT. It doesn't matter. This experience was wonderful, Hugo and his archery were great fun, the staff were all really friendly. Odin and Thor are gorgeous, we had great craic with their humans and our visit around the grounds really was special. I'd go back tomorrow and recommend it to anyone. Huge thanks to all involved.

I attended the Winterfell Festival on 24th September. Have to say it was good. All the people taking part put on a good show and did their best. It was great to meet a couple of the actors from Game of Thrones - Ian Beattie who plays Meryn Trant and Michael Condron who played Bowen Marsh. Both men were very open and friendly. I even got to swing Longclaw and Ice! I think it still could have been even bigger and better though! But still a good, enjoyable day.

Had the most amazing time ever experiencing winterfell Robbs camp the twins standing were the actors filmed great tour guide Rory he has so nice and friendly helped me during the archery had a right laugh took loads of amazing pics for me was a day I will never forget dream come true loved dressing up in the costumes I'm defo coming back to see the other locations I loved it thank you so much � wished they would have had more of a gift shop it only had a t-shirt and a coin and wish we was giving the proper stark sack with the dire wolf on as stated but one of the guides explained it's because people had stolen them but apart from that amazing time thanks again Rory xx

Great day on Sunday at the winterfell tour, loads to see and all kept busy, a few critiques I have are that some of the staff working there hadn't seen the show or had little interest in it and it did take away from the excitement as their attitudes made it hard to engage with them, and tournament games were good but less taking and more actual activities would have been better, we walked the legs off ourselves and it was so amazing walking round and seeing locations from the set, the walking tours were great and informative, would go back it it was a little cheaper as I felt for what was there £22 was a little dear... Still had a ball and would recommend

Came here on our honeymoon and what a fab time we had. The self guided cycle tour with the tablet and map was beautiful - we saw all 17 locations. We stayed in a glamping pod overnight which was great and added a lot to the experience. Loved meeting the stunning dogs who played the direwolves and William's stories of GOT were amazing. Had loads of fun at the archery range dressed up in Notherners costumes. Jamie and Michael were absolutely brill - their knowledge and enthusiasm showed through the whole experience and we really enjoyed talking fan theories. Thanks a lot, we would definitely recommend this tour.

Absolutely amazing experience - Master at Arms William was Brilliant! He showed up in full gear at the Cuan hotel lobby to pick us up. Very informative and entertaining guide. Even on a cold wintry day (fitting) we had a Fantastic time with the archery & costumes. Even finished the tour with a GOT Winter Ale!

It doesn't matter if you are GoT fan or no worth taking the tour.. Don't get disheartened even you have not seen GoT, but you can be at locations and when you see it you will recollect locations you have been.

Very good and entertaining. Loved the Dire wolves and the Kings procession and the Tournament. However, would have liked more signage. Often hard to know what was what and where to go. For example, on going into the Farmyard courtyard we were met with long queues going into doorways and no visible signs to say what they were for.
