Such a wonderful place for a wedding, it has such a lovely relaxed feel. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are so helpful and friendly. If your getting married in Somerset I would highly recommend Woodlands! �

Woodlands is so unique and a fantastic wedding venue so many photo opportunities as well as friendly helpful staff with great food and bar you cant go wrong!

Woodlands is perfect for weddings and events, set in some beautiful grounds it's ideal for wedding photography and superbly located too. On top of that it's supported by an incredible staff team who always go the extra mile for both customers and vendors alike. As a photographer working a wedding or event there is simply a dream come true. Highly recommended.

We held our wedding here on Sunday 6th May 2018. From start to finish Abigail and the team couldn't do enough to make our day perfect. During the planning stages Abigail was accommodating to our requests and changes and provides load of options to make the day your own. All our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the professional and friendly atmosphere of the day. The food and drink was fantastic and the venue provides plenty of different options for getting ready and for photos. We were so lucky to be able to have our ceremony on the outside veranda which looks amazing in our photos and videos.



I would highly recommend Woodlands Castle to any couples still looking for their dream venue!

We had our wedding reception at Woodlands in July and we could not fault it! The venue was perfect for a summer wedding with plenty of outside space as well as the main pavilion for the Wedding breakfast.



We had been anxious about not being able to decorate the venue ourselves the day before the wedding due to another booking however Kamila and her team were there early on the day to ensure that this wasn’t a problem and everything was sorted out just how we wanted it (if not better)!



Kamila and the team were well organised and incredibly attentive on the day and ensured that everything went smoothly.



We would 100% recommend Woodlands to anyone looking for a reception in Somerset. We had a great day and our guests have all commented on how lovely the venue was!

We had our wedding here on 17th September and it truley was the most amazing day. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff were fantastic, they looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble. We had our wedding at this amazing venue last Saturday and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Our wedding planner Roxanne was with us start to finish, the house and gardens are beautiful with so much space for the children to run around and play. I would recommend again and again!

We had our wedding at Woodlands Castle on Friday 2nd September and it really was the best day. We had a few wedding planners in the 18 months since we first booked Woodlands, but we had Thomas during the last few months and on the actual day and he ensured that everything ran smoothly. He did everything we asked and was a great help on the day. I wish we could do it all again!

We had our reception here on 20th May 2017 - what an amazing venue with amazing staff, the wedding coordinators were great and couldn't have done anything more to make our afternoon and evening the most special day of our lives. All our guests were commenting on how lovely everything was. The food and drink was amazing we even had to source where we could get the fruit cider as everyone loved it!

We had a works Christmas party last night with you, food was lovely, great atmosphere and fab party. Staff were absolutely amazing and we had an fantastic time!! That’s from a bunch of rowdy NHS workers who needed to let our hair down �. Will reccomend and hopefully be back next year!!

We got married on the 27th May at the amazing venue, we truly cannot thank woodlands Castle enough for all there help with organising our dream day, the venue is breath taking and had all our guests commenting on how amazing the venue was! We had various wedding planners throughout including Roxanne and on our day we had Abigail and the two of them done an amazing job, again can't fault the staff on the day all so helpful polite and at hand to make sure everything went smoothly! I would recommend this venue to all! X

We got married at Woodlands Castle in June, and we couldn't of wished for a better day, it was just perfect!



We booked the venue over 18 months before the wedding day, we were slightly unfortunate that we had 3 different wedding coordinators due to staff turnover and illness, so this caused some stress closer to the day with missing details, however Kamila was very organised and resolved all the issues very promptly for us.



The night before we were able to drop off all our decorations, flowers and outfits with the team and provided some instructions on where everything needed to be. On the day, it was all laid out exactly how we imagined and all looked perfect.



We had access to the house from 9am on the day for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. We were welcomed by continental breakfast and hot drinks for all of us, we went down very nicely as it was a few hours before the wedding breakfast. The staff left us to get ready which made us all feel very relaxed, right up until it was time to walk down the aisle.



On the day all the staff were very friendly right up until it was time to leave. Quite a few of guests mentioned on the bar staff being up for a good laugh.



The house and the gardens are beautiful, you could not fault it. It is all kept up together very well. We had many comments on how pretty and perfect it was. Would recommend this venue to any engaged couples if you are looking for a informal and relaxed wedding day!

We "Kookybooth'd" ( photo & video booth hire) at a wedding at Woodlands Castle this weekend. This is such a beautiful venue. Everywhere I looked, there was something else that made me say "aaahhhhh"... the smallest of details were just beautiful! From the building, decor itself, to the gardens, the water features, the marquee, the pavilion, everything was just simply stunning. The staff were fabulous and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful... the food, absolutely gorgeous! I cannot find fault and would thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a "simply stunning" venue.

My husband and I got married at Woodlands Castle in July and we couldn't be happier with how our day went. It was perfect. All of our guests commented on how relaxed and beautiful the venue was. We had a lot of guests travelling long distance and having the ceremony and reception in one place was really ideal. Having hotels close by was also really handy. All of the wedding coordinators that we saw in the two years of planning were really helpful and communicated well and all of the staff were friendly. The catering was exactly what we wanted as we had some coeliac guests and all of this was catered for with care. We would recommend Woodlands Castle to anyone wanting to get married. I attended a wake here – a sit down buffet for 30 people. The food and drink was to a high standard (the nicest caramelised onion and cheese tarts I have tasted and decent tasting coffee) and a wide range of food (lots of different meats, porkpies, tarts, different breads, salads etc). The staff were really helpful, plentiful parking and just off the motorway. It was the perfect place for the occasion. Thank you
