Scott is a seasoned professional songwriter with years off experience. Early into Scott's song writing career early his song writing abilities caught the attention of no other than Simon Cowell.
Simon heard a track Scott had written and invited his band to London to showcase in the famous Nomis Studios. After the audition Simon said he was going to turn the band into superstars! Although due to management differences the deal never materialised, certain very influential names within the music industry were beginning to take notice of Scott's talent.
His unique ability to marry poetic lyrics with anthemic melodies was causing industry insiders to lift their heads and notice.
One of these industry big wiggs to first notice the potential of Scott as a writer was Pete Bassett.
Ex head of PR for Polydor & Jive records, Pete formed his own very successful PR company, representing anyone from the Bee Gee's to Rod Stewart to Mick Jagger! !
Pete met with Scott in Covant Garden and told him that in his 10 yr PR history he's never worked with an artist for free, but so believed Scott was a hit songwriter he was willing to do this.
Pete then drafted in legendary music publisher & head of A& R at Warner Chappell for 20 years Stewart Feeney. Together they championed Scott as both an artist & writer.
Scott went on to share the stage with the likes of Westlife, Backstreet boys, Atomic Kitten. Was also managed by Dave Holly (Ant & Dec).
