Went for the first time last night (8/6) the music was class, old school disco. Had our own private booth. Definitely coming here for my birthday

Was there on 27 of April had an epic night i was one with glasses with friends we had such a great time met new people and had most epic night so far here ! :P

Such a fun place to go and just enjoy yourself with friends, family and loved ones.

Dance the night away, and laugh altogether.

Would definitely recommend the booths as well, worth the price.

Will be returning again and again and again.

Staff very helpful, one called Georgia in particular, who was very great with ensuring free entry for my self even though I am going to be late. Very easy and quick to talk to on message and sort problems ASAP! Good stuff�

Since my last review I haven't had any issues with the bouncer who I had problems with last time. I have had good customer service. I like the new refurb. Though I will add I haven't dared to ask for free entry since I was told I would have to pay for being 1 minute over the time.

Perfect environment, super friendly staff!

Great DJ’s and the drinks are forever flowing! Not a bad word to say about the service within the club and the refurbishment looks great! Keep up that good work��

I have been going here since i turned 18 and the difference and the changes made are incredible! The staff are so polite and welcoming! Never a bad feeling when i come here and always a great night out!�

I have always enjoyed my nights out here, I'm not from Taunton but my other half is. I've made many friends and many memories here.



The security are amazing, I had a panic attack and instead of kicking me out like most places would for being drink and disorderly, they helped me off the floor made sure I was with my friends, and I was okay.



Staff are always welcoming and friendly and recognise our faces. Always a good night out! Thank you �

The booth we had was amazing! We had the waitress service all night! We got well looked after! My friends and family want to go back! Amazing night! Great music and amazing atmosphere!

Great refurb! Lovely staff all patient and polite can have a laugh, amazing door staff�and cheap drinks that don't stop flowing! Not a bad word to say about this place! See ya tonight���

Can’t say I remember much from my night out here but it was certainly a good night.. the colour changing dance floor changed my life ( not literally ), it was a busy night but service was quick.. all the rooms were amazing will defiantly be coming here again ���

Went recently to see freestylers, music ok, venue bit poor, bouncers ott, lacked a good atmosphere, limited seating areas were roped off and they expected you to pay for them, overall not a great experience, shame it’s the only nightclub in town

The place it’s dead now. You changed all your prices to your drinks Wednesday is clarified “Student Night” now your charging more than a £1 on either certain drinks or after hours..like what’s the deal here.. none by the sound of it.. it’s varied in different days too..but all the deals are to benefit you and not really the customer.. Yes I get that some clubs struggle so they need to put their prices up, then there’s taking the full on p”ss & taking advantage of young adults and their money. You guys are not struggling at all. Your the only night club in Taunton. So your obviously making a killing. So why feel the need to put up on drinks? Even the entry on a Wednesday USED to be £3 after half 11. It’s £6 now! That’s double what you charged before. And for what exactly? The chart music?Nothings changed apart from your furry wall and you swapped the bar from one side to the other. And you painted the stairs. Oh and the chairs. Can’t forget them! THE ONLY CLUB IN this hell hole of a town and you just use it to benefit your back pocket and not bother what we might want. Had a good night which was then ruined by one of the bouncers telling a guy on the dance floor to “put your shirt on faggot”. I didn’t even know the guy but that was out of order. Now I understand that you can’t be running around shirtless but that is no way to talk to someone just because their sexual preference is not the same as yours. When I tried to tell this to the bouncer he then proceeded to have a go at me. I don’t appreciate racism, sexism or homophobia in any setting. Please sort it out Zinc. I used to enjoy a night out in taunton but nowadays it’s pretty shocking. Might want to re-think your interview process for employees!

Some of the bouncers here have no respect for the customer. Watched a man be dragged down the stairs whilst being called a ‘fat c*nt’ the whole time, when he wasn’t resisting being taken outside to begin with.

One of these bouncers then took it up with my friend after he said what he thought of the situation and was pinned to the wall by his throat � gross

My friend and I got free entry, or so we thought. We were told to arrive before 11:30 so arrived a good 10 minutes early, even messaged them to clarify that we were, indeed, before 11:30. However, their bouncers took their time letting people in and we arrived at the desk at 11:31. One minute late. I said my name +1 only to be flat out refused free entry even though we’d been waiting 10 minutes in a short queue, in the rain, that should’ve taken less than 5 minutes. We were charged £5 per person after all this. We paid as we didn’t want the night to be ruined but it certainly damped the night. £5 for entry to only two flours as the main stage was £10 to get into (a ridiculous amount considering the space and quality of the room). Needless to say we purchased no drinks there, don’t think they need the extra money after that to be honest.

I don't know what to say really.... pretty poor at best then the drinks..... warm and asked for a double vodka and coke. Coke was flat and there was no way a double vodka in there. I honestly don't think there was much if any alcohol in the drink. It tasted watery and awful. No ice in the drinks or offered any. Had to ask for it. Won't go again. wouldn't be surprised if the drinks are watered down out the back and should be investigated.

My friend and I got free entry, or so we thought. We were told to arrive before 11:30 so arrived a good 10 minutes early, even messaged them to clarify that we were, indeed, before 11:30. However, their bouncers took their time letting people in and we arrived at the desk at 11:31. One minute late. I said my name +1 only to be flat out refused free entry even though we’d been waiting 10 minutes in a short queue, in the rain, that should’ve taken less than 5 minutes. We were charged £5 per person after all this. We paid as we didn’t want the night to be ruined but it certainly damped the night. £5 for entry to only two flours as the main stage was £10 to get into (a ridiculous amount considering the space and quality of the room). Needless to say we purchased no drinks there, don’t think they need the extra money after that to be honest.

I don't know what to say really.... pretty poor at best then the drinks..... warm and asked for a double vodka and coke. Coke was flat and there was no way a double vodka in there. I honestly don't think there was much if any alcohol in the drink. It tasted watery and awful. No ice in the drinks or offered any. Had to ask for it. Won't go again. wouldn't be surprised if the drinks are watered down out the back and should be investigated.

Went for the first time last night (8/6) the music was class, old school disco. Had our own private booth. Definitely coming here for my birthday

Was there on 27 of April had an epic night i was one with glasses with friends we had such a great time met new people and had most epic night so far here ! :P

Such a fun place to go and just enjoy yourself with friends, family and loved ones.

Dance the night away, and laugh altogether.

Would definitely recommend the booths as well, worth the price.

Will be returning again and again and again.

Staff very helpful, one called Georgia in particular, who was very great with ensuring free entry for my self even though I am going to be late. Very easy and quick to talk to on message and sort problems ASAP! Good stuff�

Since my last review I haven't had any issues with the bouncer who I had problems with last time. I have had good customer service. I like the new refurb. Though I will add I haven't dared to ask for free entry since I was told I would have to pay for being 1 minute over the time.

I have been going here since i turned 18 and the difference and the changes made are incredible! The staff are so polite and welcoming! Never a bad feeling when i come here and always a great night out!�

I have always enjoyed my nights out here, I'm not from Taunton but my other half is. I've made many friends and many memories here.



The security are amazing, I had a panic attack and instead of kicking me out like most places would for being drink and disorderly, they helped me off the floor made sure I was with my friends, and I was okay.



Staff are always welcoming and friendly and recognise our faces. Always a good night out! Thank you �

Friendly, great value, options for different music / different rooms. Booth hire great value and plenty of staff checkin if we needed anything else throughout the night. Dj’s down to earth and a laugh. Very friendly really nice atmosphere. Casual dress code!

Can’t say I remember much from my night out here but it was certainly a good night.. the colour changing dance floor changed my life ( not literally ), it was a busy night but service was quick.. all the rooms were amazing will defiantly be coming here again ���

Went recently to see freestylers, music ok, venue bit poor, bouncers ott, lacked a good atmosphere, limited seating areas were roped off and they expected you to pay for them, overall not a great experience, shame it’s the only nightclub in town

I mean I can point a few things out, I’m only speaking from experience.. i used to be a regular now it’s all changed I barely go their once a month.. Granted it’s Toy-town but like the vibes gone.

The place it’s dead now. You changed all your prices to your drinks Wednesday is clarified “Student Night” now your charging more than a £1 on either certain drinks or after hours..like what’s the deal here.. none by the sound of it.. it’s varied in different days too..but all the deals are to benefit you and not really the customer.. Yes I get that some clubs struggle so they need to put their prices up, then there’s taking the full on p”ss & taking advantage of young adults and their money. You guys are not struggling at all. Your the only night club in Taunton. So your obviously making a killing. So why feel the need to put up on drinks? Even the entry on a Wednesday USED to be £3 after half 11. It’s £6 now! That’s double what you charged before. And for what exactly? The chart music?Nothings changed apart from your furry wall and you swapped the bar from one side to the other. And you painted the stairs. Oh and the chairs. Can’t forget them! THE ONLY CLUB IN this hell hole of a town and you just use it to benefit your back pocket and not bother what we might want. In the end you’ll just loose customers. Get in debt or desperate and loose the club all together. All I’m saying is make it abit more fair. Because it is far fetched it’s seriously not nice taking advantage of people & their money especially not to that degree.. people will notice people like me who knows Zinc for what it is and if they don’t. They certainly will now.. I actually don’t care about the comments, everyone’s entitled to their opinion and I’m just stating mine.

Had a good night which was then ruined by one of the bouncers telling a guy on the dance floor to “put your shirt on faggot”. I didn’t even know the guy but that was out of order. Now I understand that you can’t be running around shirtless but that is no way to talk to someone just because their sexual preference is not the same as yours. When I tried to tell this to the bouncer he then proceeded to have a go at me. I don’t appreciate racism, sexism or homophobia in any setting. Please sort it out Zinc. I used to enjoy a night out in taunton but nowadays it’s pretty shocking. Might want to re-think your interview process for employees!

Some of the bouncers here have no respect for the customer. Watched a man be dragged down the stairs whilst being called a ‘fat c*nt’ the whole time, when he wasn’t resisting being taken outside to begin with.
