To preserve and protect, restore and redevelop Hythe Pier & Hythe Pier Railway for the benefit of the community and the wider public and to advance education in the history and heritage of Hythe Pier, Train and Ferry.

The Hythe Pier Heritage Association's long term objective is "To operate, maintain, enhance and develop the historic Hythe Pier and Train for the benefit of the community, visitors and ferry users. ".
