Went for one off trial. Pool overall was decent. Changing rooms need updating, and having to walk across a hall from changing room to pool was weird ... You are walking amongst fully clothed people (normally the changing room and pool are linked).. Pool is small and dark. Steam room was good, jacuzzi was good, sauna was good. All the people I spoke to both staff and customers alike were friendly and helpful. If the changing going rooms were better this would be 4*

Really good location. The steam room is powerful and the jacuzzi is lovely and warm. However. It is absolutely filthy. Really run down and so dirty.
I feel maybe a lot of people who go there are dirty as well. Flem was on the floor and in the steam room and a sign in the ladies showers to ask to be mindful about blood flow when on menstrual cycle.
Think it is a shame as with a little TLC and revamp it could even put it's prices up and people would still go due to location.
Will go Nuffield and pay extra as their facilities are immaculate, modern and impeccably clean.

A lovely place to work out! Such a diverse and friendly place and everyone is so helpful. This is the only gym that I've been to and no one has sniggered, passed comments or given judgemental looks! Parking might be a bit tricky in the carpark sometimes, but that just goes to show how popular it is. ( there's plenty of parking on the road)

Excellent Place to Workout, Clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff, mix of all age diverse gender members with great facilities of training sessions and good availability of personal trainers.

DISGUSTING! I usually go to Nuffield but on the day visiting Leicester it was closed, so I went to 'abbey sports' for a trial. I put my towel on the floor while on the treadmill, it TURNED BLACK! Absolutely vile gym, people seemed reasonable but the dirt is just not acceptable. Equipment is similar to that found in the slums of Africa! Not acceptable for a public UK gym in 2017. The car park is a joke - I was on the verge on informing my insurance company that my car is 99% likely to be stolen, slashed or keyed by some sort of hater. This place should be burned down to the ground!
