Academysport

I have cancelled my Gym membership few months back with proper notice and within time. to my surprise I see a bank debit of £26 gone on 01-09-2017 which is ridiculous. I called up the Academy sport, Northumberland centre and I was told that As a matter of merging taking place between Academy sport and Reading Borough Council, such debits have been shown in the customers accounts and complaints raised and the admin is looking into this matter to be resolved.
I don't understand how can a cancelled Debit account details are put back into use without customers interference. Poor management !

A great staff ethos - A reference to other sports centres.

The building is a little dated but the centre has been modified and well maintained with all the facilities you'd expect of a modem sports centre. The centre is clean and the hard working staff are very helpful, curtious and friendly.

Amazing place to go. Clean Gym, pool with a clean water and warm water. STAFF are amazing, adorable and respectable. Eveyone need to go.

Absolutely not coming here again. The only good point about this place is polite staff. The worst thing is hygiene-everything is terribly dirty and not maintained at all! I joined through our clients company scheme but went only twice. First i tested gym-DIRTY, FULL OF SPIDER WEBS AND DUST, then i checked swimming pool-MOLDY AND JUST TERRIBLY DIRTY :(

I have only used the gym while waiting for the kids at swimming lessons but the equipment was in good condition and the staff friendly. One star off as the changing rooms were not great a light in the showers needed fixing and generally needed a bit of TLC.

Good value for money and fairly quiet

They have an awesome Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school affiliated with Roger Gracie and a decent swimming pool hardly anybody uses!

This place I fined a bit over priced, for public services
