Active Ashton

The facilities are good and they run a lot of classes. I mainly took out a membership for the use of the pool. What really lets Ashton down is the customer service. Whenever I've called there with an enquiry there is never anyone available and even after my boyfriend left countless messages no one got back to us. The main desk is often left unattended. General feeling of unprofessionalism that makes you feel like they don't really care very much that I haven't noticed at any other Active Tameside centre.

I like that it's open early so I can go before my work.

Great for taking the babies swimming they have a shallow slightly warmer pool for young ones between 11-3

It keeps me fit.....although it was pretty busy in the pool.
I had to weave duck and dive.....only joking the dive bit.lol

Lots of classes. Good gym. Pool

Well equipped basic gym. Lots of classes and staff are super helpful. Few times I've come on my bike and cycle hub had been closed - staff have been mind enough let me leave my bike in office. Wednesday Pilates class is great also

Good for swimming and well equipped small gym. Changing rooms are clean but pool looking dated.
