Afs Crossfit

Been going for about 6 weeks generally on a Tuesday and Thursday evening. Already see a improvement it technics with squats and handstand push ups, deadlift to name just a few. Great atmosphere friendly and welcoming.

Great place, very friendly and they accommodate for all levels of fitness and experience.

Excellent friendly gym and the trainers know their stuff. I've been a member for over a year now.

I joined Crossfit at the recommendation of Kat's Mum (thank you Helen) at the end of July this year and apart from a few weeks break when we were on holiday I have been 3 times a week ever since. I'm not afraid to say that I am probably the oldest member (over 60) at the gym, but if anyone is thinking of joining please don't let your age put you off. My family were concerned that if I injured myself it would take a long time to recover but Gareth, Kat and Darren are brilliant at showing you the right technique to use and they really don't seem to mind if they have to show you over and over again. I'm sure Gareth has eyes in the back of his head because even when you can't see him, he can certainly see you!!

The coaches are strict, but for a reason. They want you to get it right. At times it is very hard but the support of the coaches and the other members around is truly amazing and they really encourage you to do your best. The sense of achievement when you do something you didn't think you would ever be able to do is immense.

I would happily recommend AFS Crossfit to anyone of any age.

A great gym with encouraging and supportive coaches. You are made to feel welcome whatever your age and ability. I have achieved so much since I started (being an older member). I now feel more confident, fitter and healthier :)
