10 minute wait for single slice of gluten free bread at breakfast. Main course brought out with starter in restaurant for evening meal. This hotel has the potential to be very good, but is let down by its kitchen staff, serving staff and tiredness of furnishings. Although classed as a 4-star hotel and room rates to match, it certainly only deserves 3 stars at best.

Lovely hotel. Smart and spacious. Fantastic staff. Rooms are very well equipped for a pleasant stay. Full gym, pool and sauna facilities. Well worth staying if you're visiting Kent or popping across The Channel.

The hotel is a lovely hotel, with top notch service. The staff we're all very helpful as well. The hotel rooms were very clean and we also loved the decor. Now for the bad bits. Not all the hotel rooms have fridges, which I thought was a bit weird. You could give reception stuff to keep in the fridge for you and you had access to it 24/7, but it was not as convenient as having your own fridge. The hot tub is a bit small for such a large hotel and the showers were freezing. Lastly the restaurant in the hotel is not up to the standard of the hotel itself. You have to buy your bread platter which I also thought was weird. Our food came before our wine and the wine glasses were a bit dirty. I ordered a medium rare steak and was initially sent a well done steak. After I sent it back, I got a medium rare steak which they hadn't let rest and as a result, my plate ended up a sodden mess. In short, very good hotel, not so good restaurant.

There is a bed.

Stayed here as was the venue for a friends wedding, and had a great evening.

There is not a lot you can say as it follows the typical standard form for this type of hotel. Rooms are the same be it any brand as they all follow the same lay out.

I will add the Staff where great before continuing as they where helpful and very courteous. This rating of 2☆'s is only 2 as without the staff being so good it would be 1☆ as you cannot put a 0 rating.

The only downsides to the stay was there was what looked like hardened chewing gum in bed so ended up stripping the bed to sleep. At the time we where too tired after the party to worry about it at the time, and could not be bothered to mention it when we checked out the next morning as by the time we remembered we where in the car. Hence the 2☆ rating.
Would have been 4☆'s apart from that.

To add the room was adequate for our needs, well furnished and tidy.
The disabled rooms that my Girlfriends mum stayed in was well laid out with all that she needed to feel safe. So well done on that.

I wish i could raise my rating but one issue ruined the stay for us but this could have been a one off incident as laundry is outsourced but it shoukd have been picked up by house Keeping.

Comfortable rooms although a long way from reception with heavy case.
Food in restaurant is pretty unexciting and service slow. Ordered my daughter a starter which came with her main meal. Steak was thin and of low quality. Waitress was over the top in her sweet sickly manor that was so insincere, felt that all she was bothered about was whether we liked her enough to leave her a tip. Waited 25 minutes for a child's desert in a now quiet restaurant, we left at this point as couldn't wait any longer. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful though. I felt that the hotel sells lots of deals and full paying customers feel we have paid for a service we don't get. Morning breakfast staff much better and able than the evening restaurant staff.

Good service and tasty food.
Nice light and airy lobby.
Spa was modern and worth the visit.

Great spa deal, but was disappointed with lunch. Very slow service, no bread with soup had to ask for it. Pepsi was warm and flat no ice. They did get me a fresh one was colder and slightly better. Evening meal was a lot better. 3 course set menu or choice of menu up to the value of £28. Service better aswell.

Staff very friendly, room was very nice and clean. Good facilities; pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym. Would highly recommend. Food from horizon restaurant was amazing!

I visited the hotel for a work event, so spent most of the day in a conference room, which was clean, appropriately decorated, and comfortable. All the facilities required were available, and refreshments were made available; I only tried the coffee, which was more than acceptable. We had lunch at the hotel (pre-ordered from a set menu), which was excellent, as was the service. The food arrived quickly, was very well presented, and delicious. If I had to make any criticism, it would be that visitors using the spa did not have their own lounge/bar, which have the communal areas a rather odd atmosphere.
