Has everything that you need in the gym. Staff are pretty friendly. General decor and changing rooms are pretty dated. RealIy struggle to come to terms with paying £2.50 for a towel. Appreciate an easy answer is obviously to bring your own towel, however, a wet towel in sports bag isn't an enjoyable prospect..

so much disappointment with this club, its difficult to keep it short ...however i have uploaded 7 pics that speak(i hope they are uploaded my google properly)for themselves, however:
#excess iron in water supply hence the iron stains around water fountain truly worrying
#no response from staff even if the emergency alarm is accidentally pushed
#poolside phone to reception doesnt even work
#broken pipe hasnt been fixed for weeks contributing to the infestations
#broken clothes dryer hasnt been fixed for months

Dont beleive the positive reviews. I have been a member here 4 years...dull , damp ,broke and apathetic staff
#nothing gets fixed apparently they dont pay their engineers on time
#Jacuzzi only works 50% of the time with 2min cycles.
#drainage flies everywhere because they dont clean the pipes hence the smell
#air con doesnt work(replaced by fan)
#arrogant staff who just want your money
#mice infestation
#promises are never fulfilled
Honestly there are better health clubs in third world countries

You join as it is cheaper & quieter than most of the other gym in London

- soon you realise they will find every possible way to make you pay (literally spent 50 quids more on "gym rules and regulations" in the past 6 months. = see why it is quieter?

cancelled my membership recently to go to Bloomsbury fitness instead (cheaper and nicer but just busier)

It's a little bit compact but that's due to the location. Could do with a little bit of an upgrade. I joined my local bannatyne's and get to use this one near work as part of the package. For a lunch time run it's a pretty good gym.

Disappointing. I recently joined the Health Club and wanted to take advantage of a complimentary guest pass by bringing in my wife. We were instructed that this would be a free visit and we need bring only £1 for locker. When we came there today, my wife registered on the system but staff members refused to give her a towel. They said it was extra charge. There was nothing in the invitation about the towel (whether to bring it or she would be charged for it). I had assumed that it would be included because my membership also includes it. The staff members refused to give a towel even after a very lengthy discussion and me asking them to make an exception. (In any event, we only took £2 so we could not buy a towel for which they wanted to charge us £2.50). We were very disappointed and had to leave. That was such as unpleasant experience that I will very likely cancel my membership altogether.

Please fire that one reception lady (You guys should know who i am referring to by now)

Some of her quotes ;

- (Was 0932 and i was leaving the gym) Quick quick, don't you have a watch?
- I don't care i am not the manager
- Well pal, i cannot do anything about that so why don't you wait here until the manager comes? - when? - next Tuesday.

Central London gym in a basement. Decent equipment, good sized weights room and two class rooms. Lots of classes. 10m pool and sauna/steam room. Occasionally you get to see Duncan Bannatyne there, checking to see that no one gets a free towel.

I went in here and Seyi the manager, I felt was genuine. He explained what I need to know and gave me a demo of the gym and for 30 pounds I a month I thought it's a decent price.
I saw nice ladies there as well lollllllll. Everyone there seems approachable and friendly vibes. I'm looking forward for the abb blast session. It's decent, you get free WiFi and they have all the equipment and facilities you need. So stop messing around! Join this gym and ask for Mustafa ;) and you will get more motivation from me and run that extra motivation from me. There's even a boxing bag so when you stressed from from life and stressed from paying tax on everything, you box the heck out of that bag. And if you pay a whole year ul get 20 percent off. Smacking deal!
