Went for a spa day here and was impressed with the spa facilities. The ladies who did the massage were professional and friendly.

However, didn't receive robes and slippers until after an hour because they didn't have any...
The lady on reception had very poor customer service skills when we were form filling.
Had to repeat things multiple times to her.
She sent us on a wild goose chase when she said we could get locks for the changing room lockers in the changing room. Turns out she had them at reception.

Budget spa
Satisfactory day.
Would I go back? Probably not.

We have had a very relaxing day today! The only let down was having to get dressed to go out for lunch, getting drenched in the rain and then coming back and having to settle back in to chill mode! Who would have thought Mr Bannatyne would have missed an oppotunity to have increased his profit margin here!! I would have given five star rating had it not been for this minor detail! As it is... I'm out!!!👍😆

I'm a member. Good well run club in an accessible location with car parking club is always spotless and all the equipment is new and well looked after. Classes are good and well attended.

My partner and i had a lovely relaxing afternoon in the spa today ,swim steam room sauna nice and clean area as well as the changing rooms love the small touchs like tissues cotton pads and ear puds fab when you have forgot your own. Absolutely love the relaxation room very chilling relaxing and soothing .
We then had a treatment in the spa which consisted of a back neck & shoulder massage and an elmis facial delivered by the lovely professional laura & hayley thanks girls 😊very enjoyable we will be bac .jan & gary .

Lovely clean gym. Pool is a good reasonable size.we can't wait to join as we know we will be getting a good service for our money. Equipment is fantastic. Plenty of staff on hand to help and it even has a spa for my fiancée and me to pamper ourselves with after a long busy day. It has everything you require a gym to have and we can't be more happier.

Lots of good things, however the pool side facilitates really do need money spent on them The steam room needs a thorough refurbishment and pool tiles also need a revamp. The showers in the changing room always hot but again need a thorough revamp. They are looking tired as is the changing area. This is not a council pool so standards need to reflect members payments please. This area of the club has not been revitalised even if the gym area has.

I joined Bannatyne Sutton Coldfield expecting modern, well maintained, hygienic facilities. Unfortunately I can't say the club possesses a single one of those qualities. The steam room not only smells, the tiles are filthy, look 20 years old have missing grout / silicone and are covered in mould. It doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned, let alone regrouted / refurbished.
I wish I could say the showers and changing rooms are better, but they're not. It's no exaggeration to say they could very easily be mistaken for public showers in a hostel. Shower heads are hanging loose in the wall, sealant long since disintegrated, covered in scum and limescale. The trend continues with the tiles and glass shower cubicles - absolutely gross.

On a positive note, the gym and massage rooms are of a satisfactory standard, but I cannot justify £59.99 / month with the rest of the facilities in such a disgusting state. One would be better off at pure gym.
