Nice place to go to keep in shape!! The spa is excellent for a monthly treat too.

Nice place, rather everage than luxurious. Spa facilities very nice

The relaxation and massage element of this spa is wonderful. The other facilities such as the pool and steam room where not as good. A bit out dated and a little unsatisfactory. The white rim around the hot tub that lets the water spill over was also quite grubby.

However the spa element was not the worst. I attended this spa with a voucher so if there is a deal available then maybe give it a go. The massage was brilliant. I would be very reluctant to pay the full price to use the facilities though. I wouldn't return even If I this place was to come up with a deal.

I did witness a lady being introduced to the club in the changing rooms and Was being shown the lockers ect by a middle aged lady with curly medium length hair (club tour) and the woman introducing her was very off putting. She didn't have that welcoming feeling at all which was a reflection of unprofessionalism.

I would under no circumstances be a member here, staff lack professional customer service level. Simple things such as hearing a group of staff chatting away out side my massage room ruined the relaxing experience.

I would say if you are looking for a value experience with basic customer satisfaction and standard/poor facilities then this would be ideal if your not expecting too much. If you are looking for luxury and professionalism as well as a complete spa experience then this is going to be disappointing. I would be more inclined to use this location for a children's spa birthday party.

Also a lot of the staff are very young which by no means is a negative at all, this may off however contributed to the lack of staff professionalism provided such as the young staff chatting away quite ignorantly and loudly while I was trying to have a relaxing massage. Also, one girl held the door open for me and a few others and I smiled and I heard her say to her colleague "not that it's appreciated" in regard to her holding the door open. I know it's nothing to major but little things such as that very much took from the experience.

Two young ladies on the front desk however was very welcoming. It's not the worst but far from the best. Would not return. Anyone looking to book for a couples retreat or hendoo ect if you your looking for luxury then I advice you to look elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

Terrible customer service. Misleading sales and very unhelpful and unreceptive to complaint. Such a shame as it is a nice facility.

Been here now a couple of times to use the facilities and had some treatments. One of the best massages I've ever had here.. Great place to relax.

More of a leisure centre than a spa

In answer to the criticisms I would say that Bannatyne's was a gym long before the spa was added on. The members love it and perhaps if you actually became members and joined in the classes/gym floor work you would learn to love it as we do.

So fed up with the damn text messages from Bannatyne's gym in Banbury. I pay as I go as it suits me and if I wanted to join I would so please stop the endless text messages. The person who made the comment about the mad house is correct. The place can be absolute bedlam at times and people who use the spa, especially groups of people, make things worse by littering towels, slippers and rubbish around the changing room and not showering in between usage of the steam room, sauna and the pool.
