There is a gym and sauna/steam but you have to be a member of better, not pay as you go. The baby pool is good, and the teaching pool is busy. The gym is good and they have some running machines outside on a mezzanine level which helps with sweating

Nice building well mantained when compared to other Better structures. The gym overlook the training pool. It's a well lit building, a pleasure to swim here. Not the most friendly staff.

Have to agree with the statements about the cleanliness, really needs improving particularly with regard to the swimming pool changing rooms. Many lockers are being used for days or weeks at a time (telltale items hanging out of the bottom illustrate that they've not been opening for two weeks in at least two lockers I've seen).

Staff aren't rude per se, they're just not polite; no please/thank you.

For the service and standard I'd expect to be paying £10 per month less.

Great facilities, helpful staff and pretty clean throughout. Memberships, online services and classes all very user-friendly and easy. If you live locally it's a great choice for fitness and working out. Make sure to explore all rooms and areas as there's plenty on offer.

Outdoor running machines are a really nice touch!

It's all a bit hit and miss over at Clissold. Getting help depends on whose working on reception. Some are really helpful, informed, polite, attentive. Others miserable as hell. They don't know and don't care to find out. Gym is ok in terms of equipment. It has a good range of classes. Toilets, again hit and miss in terms of cleanliness. In fact the whole centre has a really grubby feel to it. Think GLL could try a hell of a lot harder to improve the facilities, the staff, and the overall experience for users. It isn't cheap and we all deserve value for money. You don't get it at Clissold I'm afraid.

Will definitely go back. Lovely staff sorted out an error I'd made in booking and went out of their way to help. Swimming pool is nice enough and the changing rooms were clean and had plenty of room on a Saturday afternoon. it's not cheap though. A few less soaring glass windows = a few fewer pence per swim?

Great venue, but pool water is often not very clear, changing rooms a little dirty. Amazing cafe with healthy food. Shame that Better has such a complex pricing structure between all its Boroughs. Why not make membership universal like how centres offered their services in the past?

Good workout center, offers a lot of different classes. The only thing that could make it better is if they offered radio or TV synchronization with the workout machines. At this time he can only watch TV with no sound.

They also offer a variety of children's activities so this is always a plus for those with family
