Tried to make a booking but a member of staff just hang up on me! Absolutely outrageous!

My locker was broken into and the club Manager completely failed to handle the incident. They did not provide the police with the CCTV footage that they requested due to a lack of understanding of the system, and the club Manager ignored all of my emails regarding the incident.
There was a complete disregard for my concerns and an absence of respect for a long time member.
I reported my concerns to the Head Office, who did have the decency to response, but were more concerned with protecting their own interests rather than dealing with the shortfalls in customer service and basic operations.

I would suggest avoiding this Club at all costs - it cost me a sentimental and valuable item!

Great gym, a little narrow on its layout, but great body pump teacher, definitely try it out.

Distinct lack of equipment in this gym. There are literally no normal weight resistance machines. Whilst it is nicer than Holborn circus inside which was my gym until it shut there just isn't the same range of equipment to use!

This place is a dump. The showers smell like several decades worth of mould have gathered to make a super, thriving ecosystem of pungent, toxic fumes.

Unfortunately, since the place is so unhygienic, this leaves one in a bit of a dilemma. All the equipment is as filthy as a dried up tributary leading to the river Thames (the kind of swampy rivers that have dead rats and shopping trolleys scattered within). I kid you not, I have developed rashes all over my body from merely coming into contact with their diseased gym matts and exercise machines.

However, I found that if you manage to get home quick enough, you'll have just about enough time to have a proper clean shower and this drastically reduces the chances of skin inflammation.

The sauna is definitely a no-go zone. Just don't bother. God forbid what a portable UV light might reveal in that wooden box of grime.

On a positive note, the front desk staff were always helpful and friendly. I can't say the same for management though - they walk around giving a deathly stare, trying to mask this with a fake smile and small talk. But you can hardly blame them, since they have the god-awful task of running a dump masquerading as a place of health and well-being. Oh the irony.

Staff are highly rude and my training partner was harassed and verbally abused by a member. When expressing the situation to the general manager Nicole), she sided with the member without evaluating both sides.
She was incredibly patronising and rude with the way she presented herself.
Sauna wasn't working no "out of order sign visible.
No shower or conditioning soap in 3 of the cubicles.
Changing rooms were messy.
Will not being returning to fetter lane Fitness First have had two unpleasant experiences from this club.
