A lovely clean pool and changing room. Reasonably priced for a family of four. With the sloping edge in pool is brilliant for toddlers and beginners to gain confidence.

Very good club plenty if facilities. A little run down but continued refurbishment going on. Will be top notch shortly I'm sure.

Good indoor temperature controlled swimming pool and gym is pretty good with sauna and steam room

Good amenities and equipment, brand new pool which is good. However the staff aren't great and they try to charge for a lot of things that should be free in my opinion.

Pool is nice though colder than normal. Even though they now have a teaching pool, most of the main pool was taken over by lessons in the afternoon😔 So we was all moved into a small corner.

We really like the pool, and the new cafe area is clean and staff friendly. The only downside is the toilets, in the mens changing room are frequently dirty and on Sunday morning there was no toilet roll in any of them including the disabled one, not great when you have a small child to look after.

Came here for a corporate event and really enjoyed ourselves- fantastic staff and a great venue to enjoy the sunshine and lots of field games.

We use the aqua ed classes for our boys. The instructors are wonderful, so dedicated and hardworking. The reception staff are very chatty but always happy to help and go the extra mile when answering queries.

Staff are unhelpful and rude. The fact that they're always changing tells you a lot

It's a shame the area has no decent swimming pools.

I use the gym here and the gym staff and manager are faultless. Good equipment etc. Great team. However when I arrived on Monday and went to reception, I spoke with the elderly lady on reception who ignored me - I was standing right in front of her and she picked up the phone! Pretended it was ringing!!!! And even said she was on the phone when she wasn't. I argued the point with her!!! She wasn't! No eye contact, nothing. So I moved to the other receptionist who was able to get me a bottle of water. I do wonder why she works on FOH, customer service is clearly not her strong point, she doesn't have the social skills to deliver a good job. I imagine she has worked there for a long time and feels she is justified to behave that way. Complacent. Other receptionists seem fine. Good luck SSL - you need it.

Looking forward to the 2nd pool, the extra pool will make the good facility even better, often use the pool and staff are friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and tidy.

It's OK as a swimming pool but we travelled here because of the wave machine, which didn't work and isn't going to again I'm told, and there were awful temporary changing rooms while building works were going on.
