Northgate Arena Leisure Centre

Looking tired, the ceiling needs to be hoovered and theres lots of lights out making an already dark place darker. Please sort it out as it's an amazing pool

Kids loved it. I hadnt been since probably 1987, was lively to see all the changes...and some of the remaining things su h as the whale feature and slide. Definately going to go back.

It's a great facility for the town but it is in need of a makeover. The pool is good, with both a training pool and a huge one with a water slide from the roof!

I go there regularly n find a homely atmosphere. I find the crew who operate and run the place to be of a friendly, knowledgable nature and help and support you to reach your goals. The place has a character that cant be described to it but makes you feel comfortable.

Staff members haven't a clue, reception is disorganised and untrained, walked around with lifeguards who haven't a clue about the place. It wasn't their job and they weren't getting paid for it. Didn't get to try out anything as I was dumped in reception after the tour and left with 15 minutes to read posters about classses. If Brio is wondering how much of the market they are missing out on they should get people to take a survey on first impressions.

Good facilities that are always clean, good swimming baths with different areas depending on swimming ability and whether you are serious or going for fun

Great place with a big swimming pool with baby slides and also a big one. Gym is fab and staff are really helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced too

Not bad for a 70s leisure centre. Don't know why noone wanted windows in the swimming pool at the time!
