Consistently No hot water in the showers. The water in the showers is warm enough just to be able to spend at most a couple of minutes in the shower. But not hot at all, last night I had a quick snack before the shower and I had a congestion, also with this 'warm enough' showers I also developed a cold. So not exactly what you expect in winter season.

I am paying £104 a month but i dont think its worth it anymore as the service is not that good. There are no benches free between 6pm-9pm thats the busiest time and the free space is also used for classes so not available to me. All the other gym in the area are either open 24hrs or open till midnight only this ome close at 10pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends. It should be at lesst 11pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends.

Female change rooms always so dirty with hair and dust on the floors and benches. Facilities are ok: gym is always full (even at 11 am or at like 3 pm). Should have many more machines in the weights / cable machines area. Should have more mirrors to monitor form in the TRX / Grid area. There is absolutely none there. For the cost of a Virgin Active membership, this is one of the worst gyms.

Pretty good gym. Couple of squat racks and lots of space for kettle bells and body weight exercises.

Very nice gym. Well equipped with everything you need. Also has pool and very nice spa area, sauna, hot tub etc. Friendly staff and regular classes. The gym itself is a tiny bit too small however but if you can avoid peak times then this isn't really a problem.

Great club. Good selection of classes. Busy in leak times.

Really bad experience with this gym.

People slam balls and tires on the floor which produces a very disturbing noise in the flats upstairs where I live. I went to complain, because all other form of exercises are fine. They explained to me that acoustic insulation hasn't been done for this kind of exercise because the room wasn't intended to be used like this. They eventually agreed to remove the equipment that was producing the noise, so it was fine for a while. But now the same equipment is back and staff say there is nothing they can do if people want to slam heavy items on the floor.

Given how expensive this gym is, whoever wants to exercise should look for a proper facility that provide adequate equipment and environment for it.

Edit: Oh and don't believe what they say regarding contacting them for further assistance, they actually won't come back to you, they only pretend to do so.

I have a Classic membership so usually go to Virgin's premium brand outlets but this one I have to say it is by all means equal or better than some of the premium brand branches - new and sparkly, spacious floor, good changing facilities, and not overly busy (in the mornings). Highly recommended, I'd say fantastic value.
