we cannot actually show the cap - as it's a bit rude - but here is the feedback we received from the customer this morning . . .
"In other news, the cap has arrived and my mate is chuffed to bits with it. Thank you. It was his 40th on the 6th so I got it for that. The design had some meaning, it’s our pet name for each other but I didn’t want it to be entirely offensive so tried to do something that looked really simple, putting the dots above the U at least made it look like... it could be a Scandinavian brand rather than a rude word. Obviously I put his birth year on there to make it like it was like the year the ‘brand’ was established. The ‘precision engineering’ had two meanings, one that he’s a precision engineered mate, he’s the best. It is also an ironic gesture that he was the most shoddy mechanic when we first met with a bike held together with zip ties and duct tape and regularly fixed with a hammer.
The aim was to keep it subtle enough that it would go un-noticed, he’s chuffed to bits with it though.
